Born in Jodhpur in a family having deep interest in Indian Classical Music. He learnt Indian Classical  Music from his respected father and thereafter took training from Guru Suresh Bidwalkar ji . He further enhanced his musical knowledge  by his close association with Padmabhushan Ustad Sultan Khan. He is equally keen in acting and have won various prizes in drama and won Second Prize in Monoacting in Rajasthan State School Tournament . He is chairman of Saptsur Sansthan, Jodhpur which promotes Indian Classical Music and organises various concerts of prominent musicians in Jodhpur City and also helps upcoming talented musicians in grooming their skills, a life member of Shri Sachiyay Mata Trust.
 
After completing studies joined Aditya Birla Group and was Marketing Head for Western Region in Hindusthan Gas . Left in 1995 and started own business of Hydrogen Gas as an entrepreneur and now one of the prominent suppliers of Hydrogen to various  corporates which includes Tata , Vedanta , RIL and many in Maharashtra and Gujarat.
 
He is close friend to many prominent musicians and artists. Have organised various huge concerts wherein prominent musicians namely King Of Ghazals Jagjit Singh , Ustad Ghulam Ali , Ustad Zakir Hussain , Ustad Rashid Khan , Salim-Sulaiman , Shivamani , Hariharan and many others have performed. Out of his passion he produced a Beautiful Marathi Feature Film Titled #Prawaas featuring prominent actors Ashok Saraf , Padmini Kolhapure , Vikram Gokhale , Rajit Kapoor and Shreyash Talpade , Music by Salim-Sulaiman and songs by Sonu Nigam , Shreya Ghoshal , Sukhwinder Singh and Hariharan. He considers Film making as his passion before business.

Om Air was established in year 1995 by Om Chhangani a first-generation entrepreneur who worked for 15 years in Hindustan Gas & Industries Ltd (An Aditya Birla Group Company) a leading player in Industrial Gases’ Business in India which was subsequently purchased by Praxair and he was Marketing Head of Western India when he left his job in 1995 to start his own business from scratch.

Om Air identified potential in Hydrogen Business in Maharashtra and Gujarat and started dealing exclusively in the logistics and marketing of Hydrogen Gas in Bulk through Hydrogen Banks to various Industries in these states and by our dedicated efforts and excellent service to the customers became one of the prominent players in Hydrogen supplies. We are sourcing our Hydrogen from various reputed Hydrogen Manufacturers namely VVF LTD, Taloja, National Peroxide Ltd. Kalyan in Maharashtra and Grasim Industries Ltd, Atul Ltd , DCM Ltd and Meghmani Finechem Ltd in Gujarat. We have nearly 50 Hydrogen trollies of different configurations to cater to requirements of different types of Hydrogen Consumers smoothly and adequately.

We are catering requirements of Hydrogen Consumers namely manufacturers of Aromatic Chemicals, Petrochemicals, Vegetable Oils, Castor Oil, Steel, Glass, Fibre Optic Cables, Carbide tools and others.
